Bittersweet

This week has been a challenging one. I've been doing strength training in the mornings on the weekdays and it tends to take a little out of me. The challenge is staying consistent at gym. I'm not so much physically tired, but more mentally tired. I have to work very hard to keep my mind on track and not loose control of myself.

Regionals is next weekend in White Fish, Montana. I'm super excited. State went really well, and this success gives me more confidence than ever. I placed third all-around with a 36.85, hitting my best meet this season. vault: 9.15, bars: 9.45(2nd), beam: 8.95, floor: 9.3(2nd). I'm ready to dial down, fine tune, zero in and hit: boom! As always, pray for health and safety, I know He watches over me.

A few exciting things about CrossFit: First, CrossFit LiS is getting more and more new people every week! I'm beginning to train 5 days a week now. Our goal is to get a solid client base of 20 people coming consistently three times a week, then we can begin to think about moving into a larger space. A spacious pawn shop went out of buisiness last month and is up for lease. We are definitely keeping this in mind!

We finished our logo! And we have found someone to produce our shirts for us. This is a great accomplishment for us! If you can think of any original, not too arrogant quotes or sayings that we can put under our logo let me know, maybe we will send you a t-shirt.
The CrossFit store put out a poster of me at the CF Games in the C+J WOD.

That is pretty friggin exciting!
The CrossFit Movie is coming out on April 22!

To put it simply, CrossFit just psyches me up!!

On a lighter note, Emily is here! She is no longer little Emily(not that she every was smaller than me), with her head almost literally in the clouds(not in any way figuratively). It is nice to have her here. Tomorrow we are going to have a girls day out with Beth and Aimee. The original plan was to dress me up as a barbie and force me to go shopping, but now I think we may just go out to breakfast at Glo's and get a pedicure or something.
In the meantime, we entertain ourselves by having staring contests and sticking foam balls up Kallista's nose (which I am still half bitter about by the way).

Praise the Lord for the good that he has done. Praise Him for the beauty he has given this world. Praise Him because he has given eternal life to those who believe. Praise Him for the bittersweet melody He has sung unto his creation. Happy Easter.
