We moved to Georgetown. I can practically step outside my door and touch Boeing. We now live a twenty minute bus ride away from the gym and an hour away from the nearest grocery store.

It's clear and sunny in Seattle believe it or not. It will be for the next week or so. Awesome! I love Seattle.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card is the best book in the world. I've always wanted to save the world.

Love loves to give

Now that another Year is coming it's time to make those resolutions... stupid.
I like New Day Resolutions. You shouldn't have to wait a whole year to make new ones;)
Here is a "New Year's" resolution:

Love is oneness- oh, how sweet
To obey this law,
The unlovely we may meet
Need our love the more.
Make us one, O love, we plead,
With men's sorrow and their need.

We are one in needing love,
(Let us true love show)
Only love's sun from above
Makes our spirits grow.
"Love us!" this is our heart's need,
"Let us love"-- and live indeed.

We are also one in this,
We must love or die,
Loving others is true bliss
Self-love is a lie!
Love of self is inward strife,
Love turned outward is true life.

Let us love and fruitful be,
Love is God's own breath,
Love will kindle love and see
New life born from death.
Nowhere is a heaven more sweet
Than where loving spirits meet.

There is one law by which we live,
"Love loves to give and give and give!"
And on this "royal law," so named,
The universe itself is framed.
No lasting joy is anywhere
Save in the hearts of those who share.
Life yeilds a thousandfold or more
To those who practice love's great law.

That love is far to weak and small
Which will love some but not love all.
If love to one it will decline,
'Tis human love and not divine,
Love cannot be content to rest
Till the beloved is full blest.
Love leaps to succor all who fall,
And finds his joy in giving all.
--From Hannah Hurnard's Mountains of Spices

I always find Love on the top of my goal list.
Happy New Year!!!

Family and the Holidays

When People think of Christmas they think of gifts and cheer
But all I care on Christmas is that my family's here.
On Christmas a main topic is Santa and Reindeer
But all I care on Christmas is that my Lord is near.

These Holidays have been wonderful but they just go by so fast! The whole family was here for Christmas, but Acacia went down to California to spend the New Year with some other friends in Joshua Tree. The rest of us are here chillin, spending family time, talking about St. John's, watching rockin' movies, playing cards, going to the Aquarium, Sculpture place and Pike's Place Public Market. Family is truly what I'm thankful for.

I've been holding off blogging to spend time with the family, so don't think I forgot. I have a lot of pictures.

It did end up snowing on Christmas and was sunny on Christmas Eve and sunny yesterday(New Year's Eve). I cannot believe another year has gone by. The world feels so old and I feel so old.
We have to start school again tomorrow, I'm going to be brain dead. I think I'll get back to gym pretty fast because I did CrossFit on Saturday(I miss Crossfit soooo much!) and went to Vertical World on Sunday with Papa and Aimee. That was a lot of fun. I bench pressed my bodyweight:)
Pikes Market, eve of Christmas Eve:

The Fruit was so beautiful!
Here are the pictures from Christmas Eve: We celebrated a day early.
