I woke up this morning in a great mood, snotty and mucousy throat... wonderful. I was tired, and I felt like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed(which is impossible cause my bed is against a wall). Anyway, I had a sweet breakfast of eggs and sausage:) yummy. all the pappas kids were together with the Pa... and Kazul, the cat:)after finished my Woodward West Scholarship application essay, I clicked into math mode and spent a zillion hours doing one and a third math lessons. I couldn't get those functions out of my head for hours. Well I did CrossFit: 5 Over head squats and pushing the car 20 meters. Multiply that by five. ouch! I spent an hour or so recooperating, than did some more math. I went slow on my chores, cause it's my alone time, and I take advantage of being out of the apartment. Aimee babysat an unusually intelligent 4-year-old girl named Julia, while I juggled sticks outside. I just finished a metolius(it's a finger board that improves your grip. rock climbers use them a lot.) workout. My forearms are gonna be sore tomorrow.
Well, there it is, a day in the life of Kallista Pappas:) FuN, fUn.
I got back from a Yosemite trip with my family on sunday afternoon. We had a great time. While Aimee and Acacia soaked themselves by Yosemite Falls, Pa Stefan and I were climbin' some sweet 5.10 cracks. I now have an official favorite climb! Aimee says every climb I climb is my favorite climb. That's not true! ... most of the time. It's called "The Peruvian Flake." My hands were perfect for finger locks in the cracks. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet:)
I've been struggling thinking about what to blog lately, that's why it's been so long. I thought today was a good day to show what my life is like. Even if it's unique that all six "kids" were together(and the cat was in the house), things like chores and homework and AWESOME breakfasts, are stuff I experience every day. I'm so lucky.
Bethany's leaving tomorrow morning. It stinks. I finally got to feel the baby kick today. Bethany said that every time I touched her stomach before, the baby suddenly stopped moving, like it was trying to avoid me or something. I hope he/she likes me when he/she comes out. He/she obviously doesn't like me right now. haha:)
Life is good.

Random
Laurel's in California! I haven't seen her since... forever. I wish she didn't go to school so far away. Darn! Visiting's fun. After I got back from the bloomin' hot Palmdale, I only saw her for about thirty minutes before she rushed off to visit friends in Pasadena. Pooh. Oh well she'll be here until the end of June. There'll be plenty of hang out time.
At the end of this month, Bethany, a soon to be mommy:) is going to be coming down from Seattle. Yayy! Family reunion! This'll be the first time all six "kids" and my dad will be together since we lived in Claremont! Fun FUN... with a few family clashes. ohwell.
I got my muscle up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! look at the link that says Pappas WOD. there's a video there(Kallista's MUSCLE UP!!!). Look at that cause it's hard to explain. Anyway, CrossFit rocks. I got 2nd place All-Around at my last meet! It's all CrossFit's fault. haha(that's a good thing).
Well, if there's one thing I despise the most, it's burping up fish oil. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Random... uh huh.
My family got a camera. A really cool camera:) I need help uploading pictures, so there's none right now. I'll learn.
that's all

i fainted
I had the stomach flu yesterday. I was really nervous, because I have a gymnastics meet tomorrow that's really important. I didn't know if I'd be well by then. Luckily, my siblings who gave it to me only had it a day. That gave me hope. I was better off than my siblings. I only vomited twice. One time when I was alone, the phone rang. I felt obliged to answer it, not even considering the fact that I hadn't eaten a thing since the night before. I hobbled over to it. It was my dad. He asked me how I was feeling, and I told him: dizzy and barfy. The walk over to the phone gave my body and stomach quite a shock. I hung up and ran to the toilet. While I was recooperating with my head in the toilet, the phone rang again. I didn't bother answering it, I was too exhausted. A couple minutes later, I called my dad back again, assuming it was he who had called while I was in the bathroom. Maybe he wanted to tell me something important. He thought that someone else was there that could answer the phone. I told him I felt really dizzy and had to go lie down. I said bye, and at that moment I lost conciousness. I gained it again when I hit the ground. My head was about one foot from our coffee table, which I had a gruesome incident with before. I was really lucky! anyway... that's what happened.
My mom's coming tomorrow to watch me compete. Then she's taking my brother and me down south. Fun, fun.
